All your receipts (equity, interest, adjustments, etc.) are recorded in the panel of receiving the money. Go to that window and search for the bank register link from the options. It allows you to record more than one detail about the receipt and procedures covered under the section. If you entered any payment relating to invoices, your balance would be incorrect.
MYOB Tech Support provides the options for recording the receipts in the following steps:
1. Go to the banking command center and hit for receiving the money. The receive money window will prompt on the screen.
2. You may go to the following options either to deposit to the account or grouping to it. In the deposit to accounts field, choose the specific bank account. You may go to the option if you demand the deposits to be recorded in the un-deposited funds.
3. If the deposit amount possesses GST, go to the GST inclusive option.
4. In the field of payers, select the name of the payor.
5. Now, in the options of receiving the amounts, place the amounts received.
6. Insert the date of the payments made.
7. You may select the mode of transactions through the field.
8. If you want to record the extra information about the payments like cheque number, go to the details and record them in the applied payment detailing window.
9. Now, allocate the amounts to the specific accounts and distribute it to multiple areas.
10. In case you want to view or modify the GST amounts assigned to it, go to zoom it fully.
